Summer Teen EcoExcursions

For ages 13 to 18 years old

Take a break from the Virtual World and get Outdoors!

Summer EcoExcursions is an outdoor program for teens. Every session will include an animal demonstration and an outdoor activity, like exploration hikes, dip netting, and more. Each day features a different topic. Summer sessions held every other Wednesday.

Topics: June 12: Reptiles

June 26: Raptors

July 10: Animal Defenses

July 24: Crustaceans

Time: 10am-12pm

Rate: Members: $16 | Non Members $19

Things your teen will need to bring: insect repellent, a lunch, and refillable water bottle.

Registration:

  • Call 713 274 2668 for information or to register by phone.

  • Full payment is due at the time of registration. Please make checks payable to ABNC.

  • Teen EcoExcursion check-in starts at 9:45am, camp starts at 10am. Please arrive on time!

Cancellations:

  • Payment of fees is required to complete your registration. There is No refund on the day of program.

  • If the Nature Center cancels, every effort will be made to reschedule, or a full refund will be provided.

  • If your teen is dismissed from the program, NO refund will be given.

  • For the safety of your campers, all outdoor activities will depend on the weather. EcoExcursion is held rain or shine.
