As a nature preserve with three distinct ecosystems, Armand Bayou Nature Center is one of the best places to take pictures in the Houston area.
We are happy to have photographers who appreciate the natural beauty at ABNC, but we ask you to please follow a few simple rules to keep the nature center clean and safe for all visitors and wildlife.
We kindly ask that you refrain from the following:
Blocking access to trails, platforms, or any other areas
Entering locked buildings
Climbing on equipment, buildings, railings, fences, or other structures
Moving nature center property
Straying from the marked trails—this is for your safety and to avoid damaging sensitive habitats
Inappropriate clothing or nude photography
Disturbing or touching wildlife or wildlife ambassadors
Also, please refrain from using the following prohibited items:
Drones
Excessive lighting equipment (flashes are ok)
Large props
Rice
Confetti
Glitter
Peanut shells
Fireworks
Silly string
Balloons
Bonfires

ABNC is privately managed and reserves the right to ask visitors who are not abiding by these rules to leave the center without a refund. ABNC closes promptly at 5:00, and we kindly ask that all guests exit before that time.
